Poser 294 - Minutes of Duddingston Kirk Session, 1834
This poser is taken from the minutes of Duddingston Kirk Session, and dates from 1834 (National Records of Scotland, CH2/125/1, page 148).
In this example the writer makes use of many flourishes – particularly with his capital letters. The handwriting is fairly standard for the 19th century and there are no real issues with 'peculiar' spellings of words here. The biggest issues are probably with the areas of the extract where the writing is slightly untidy. Note also that the writing size decreases towards the end of the page.
