Deceased Mr Robert Woodrow And Executrix Dative qua relat Decerned to her Said Deceased husband by the Commissary Substitute of Glasgow As ane decreet Dative pronounced thereanent Upon the day and Date hereof in itself fully bears ____ Inventary
Impr[imi]s There was adebted and oweing to the Said Defunct The time of his death the Sum of one thousand merks Scots Prin[cipa]ll Two hundred merks as penalty obliged therefore Contained in a bond granted to the Said Deceased Mr Robert Woodrow by Mr David Verner professor of philosophy in the newton College of Aberdeen and Samuell McLellan of Barclay merchant in Edinburgh Con[junct]lly & Se[ver]ally Dated the twenty third of June im vijC & twenty four years Registrate in the books of Councill and session the Seventh of Jully im vijC & twenty Seven Item Eleven pound Eleven Shill[ing]s Sterling prin[cipa]ll Two pound Five Shillings money foresaid as penalty obliged therefore
And the @ rents of the Said pincipall Sum from twenty third Of June im vijC & twenty four to the Said Defunct Mr Woodrow his death Contained in a bond Granted to the
Said Deceased Mr Robert Woodrow by the Said Mr David Verner professor of philosophy in the new College of Aberdeen Dated the twenty third of June im vijC & twenty four
years ____ Summa of the principall Sums attour the fores[ia]d attour
The foresaid @ rent and penalty is lxvij lib[ra] ij ß[olidus] 1 1/3 d[enarius] Sterling
Confirmation granted hereon in Common form by William Commisar depute
And Alexander Stevenson Clerk to the Commissariot of Glasgow Att Glasgow
The twenty fifth day of June im vijC & fifty two years Bond of Cautionry In presence of William Weir Commissary Depute of Glasgow Compeared John Wardrop writer in Glasgow his pro[curat]or for the after designed John Wodrow and Margaret Warner and Gave in the bond of Cautionry aftermentioned Desiring the Same Might be registrate In the Commissariot Court Books of Glasgow To the effect mentioned in The Clause of Registration therein and after Specified Which Desire the said Commissary depute found Reasonable Ordained the Same to be Done Accordingly And whereof the tenor follows I John Wodrow physician In Glasgow hereby bind and oblige me my heirs Executors and
Successors whatever As Cautioner & Surety Acted in the Commissariot Court books of Glasgow for Margaret Warner widow of the Deceased Mr Robert Wodrow Minister of the Gospell at Eastwood That the haill Goods Gear Debts Sums of money And others Whatsoever moveable to be Given up and Confirmed by the said Margaret Warner As Executrix dative qua relict of the said Deceased Mr Robert Woodrow in the Said Defunct his principall Confirmed testament to be expede at her instance before the Commissary of Glasgow Shall be made furthcomeing to all parties having interest As Accords of the law And I the Said Margaret Warner bind And oblige me my heirs & Successors whatsoever to free Relieve harmless & Skaithless keep my Said Cautioner & his foresaids of their haill Cautionry for me in the premisses & of all damages and Expenses thereanent Consenting to the Registration hereof in the books of Councill and Session Books of the Said Commissariot or any others Competent That Letters of Horning on Six days And thereto Constitute John Wardrop writer in Glasgow Are Subscribed Att Glasgow the twenty fourth day of June One thousand Seven hundred and fifty two years before these witnesses John Young Cooper in Glasgow And the Said James Clark writer hereof (Signed) John Wodrow Mar[gar]et Warner John Young witness James Clark witness
