| Daniel Rutherford CC8/8/146 [p.265] [In margin] 6 June 1820 Test[ament] Dative Umqhile Daniell Rutherford [main text] The Testament Dative and Onventary of the debts and Sum of money which was addebted resting owing to Umquhile Daniel Rutherford M.D. Professor of Botany in Edinburgh at the time of his decease who dies on the day of December Eighteen hundred and nineteen years Made and Given up by Margaret Ann and Darcy Maxwell Rutherford Daughters of the defunct And only Executors Dative qua nearest in kin Decerned to him And that by Decreet of the Commissaries of Edinburgh as the same dated the nineteenth day of May Eighteen hundred and twenty in itself bears. Follows the Inventary In the first the said Umquile Daniel Rutherford had pertaining and belonging to him at the time of his decease foresaid five Pounds Sterling part of a right & Interest Corresponding to three hundred and [p.266] and thirty three Pounds Six Shillings And Eight pence Sterling in the Capital Stock in the Bank of Scotland belonging to the defunct and standing in his name in the Books of the said Bank Extending said Partial Sum of five Pounds Sterling herein given up in Scots Money is Sixty Pounds Summa of the Inventary} £v..-..- James Gordon Thomas Tod James Fergusson and George Ross Esquires Commissaries of Edinburgh & c[etera] Cautioner Robin Rutherford Writer to the Signet dated Sixth June Eighteen hundred and twenty years |
